Filthy Lucre: PZ bucks from Nate and Jeremy


Nate Rhodes and Jeremy Ziegler were hard at work over at Dorian Recording, cranking out PZ bucks (similar to Geoffry Dollars) for a present of painting lessons this Christmas. I can't go much further into it... spoiler.

funny stuff. they used my thomas jefferson portrait from 1999. i busted out, especially since i was expecting to see my own goofy mug on the cash - thankfully, no.

I am the lucky gal in possession of 4, count 'em FOUR, original PZ bucks, presented to me by the infamous Nate S. Rhodes, Photographer and Many Other Things Extraodinaire, in a beautiful bond paper envelope, that on the back held a red wax seal, stamped with the ring Nate wears (of which the significance is unknown to me but has always been on his finger as long as I've known him and surely longer). I have yet to take advantage of this fabulous gift; however, the presentation was unique, hilarious and quite original. I plan to spend this new currency very soon, once the holidays are over. Thanks to Jeremy for the work you did on my and Nate's behalf, thanks PZ for the inspiration, and especially the willingness to do a friend a huge huge favor, and thanks my wonderful Nate for getting this gift for me.
