Bookplate

zdepski's illustration of an armadillo reading for a bookplate
My cousin, Sarah and husband, Joel are looking into how to get the books they loan out, back. Joel is tired of whipping out a Sharpie and scribbling his name in the upper left-hand corner of the inside cover. So, a quick email and a quick turn-around has produced the first "Meissner Library" bookplate.

I've used my Armadillo Reading in the Cactus Patch for the imagery, and ignoring the border at this moment, since they may need to run them off as Avery labels. No border is the same as ample bleed in a situation like this. Many folks have Microsoft Word and an Inkjet printer, so it allows them to output a stack of labels in a few hours.

If Sarah and Joel want to go through a print shop, I can dream up an appropriate border to go with the image.

I love this! I don't think it even needs a border.

very cool illustration and a great idea. I've lost track of how many copies of Good Omens have vanished
